The best addition to any summer supper? This delicious Stone Fruit + Fresh Mozzarella + Rose Petal Salad. It’s a beautiful dish and is wonderfully delicious. I love how simple dishes can really shine during the summer months when you want to eat lighter meals and the fresh produce is so abundant. I was able to pick up a bunch of organic roses at the farmer’s market last weekend. Sprinkling this salad with delicious, edible rose petals adds even more loveliness to this warm-weather dish. Stonefruit + Fresh Mozzarella + Rose Petal Salad

Ingredients:
8 ounces of fresh mozzarella
About 3-4 large pieces of stone fruit (such as pluots, plums, nectarines, and/or peaches)
A handful of micro arugula
Fresh, organic, edible rose petals
1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Juice from 1/2 lemon
Salt + Pepper to taste

Directions:
Simply slice and arrange the stone fruit and fresh mozzarella on a platter of your choice. Spritz with a touch of lemon juice then drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste! Sprinkle with micro arugula sprouts and edible rose petals. Serve with homemade bread if you wish!
